Pera Museum, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year is hosting an extra ordinary exhibition of the iconic contemporary artist Grayson Perry between 13th of May and 26th of July.
The exhibition includes the outstanding tapestry work of the British artist named as "The Vanity of Small Differences" where Perry illustrates every day issues, religion, social classes, popular culture in 6 giant tapestries.
2003 Turner Prize winner Grayson Perry is also well-known for his transvestite character "Claire" which he uses both characters; Grayson and Claire in order to anaylse the social classes and conflicts of the day.
Alongside the tapestry collection, Pera Museum also exhibits the ceramic vases of Grayson Perry that are listed as the early works of the artist and almost equally striking as the tapestry collection.
